01Who we are

Coffee Snobs is made by Jasper is Hungry (“we”), Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Our full company details are on the legal notice page. Questions: jasper@coffeesnobs.app.

02What Coffee Snobs is

Coffee Snobs helps you log the coffees you drink, learn your palate and share with friends. It’s free and still being built: features change, and sometimes something breaks. We do our best to keep it running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

03Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• One account per person, with information that is correct.
• Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else used your account, email us straight away.

04What you post

Your logs, notes and photos stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them to others according to the visibility you choose, only to run Coffee Snobs.

Don’t post anything that is illegal, hateful or insulting, that breaks someone else’s rights (such as a photo you didn’t take and may not use), or that contains other people’s personal details. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

05Coffee information

Coffee details, flavour notes and prices come from the roasters’ public websites and are processed automatically. They can contain mistakes, and prices and stock change. Check the roaster’s website before you buy. You buy from the roaster, not from us. No roaster pays to be in Coffee Snobs or to rank higher.

06Fair use

Don’t copy the catalogue in bulk, don’t try to get around security, don’t create fake accounts and don’t harass other people.

07Stopping

You can stop at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law doesn’t allow it. If we ever stop Coffee Snobs, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice, so you can ask for a copy of your data.

08Liability

Coffee Snobs is free and provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damage, or for damage caused by relying on coffee information in the app. That limit doesn’t apply to damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness, and nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

09Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters for you, we’ll tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop and delete your account.

10Law

Dutch law applies. If you use Coffee Snobs as a consumer, you also keep the protection that the law of the country where you live gives you, and you can go to the courts there. Otherwise, disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam.
